Experienced art director with a passion for innovating in the digital space
Hi, I’m Andy, and I am an art director who specializes in designing attractive, engaging, and accessible websites. For the past five years I have worked at VML, one of the world’s leading digital marketing agencies, where I am primarily responsible for the art direction and design of websites and online marketing for large brands like Kellogg’s, SAP, Capital One, Invisalign, Constellation Brands, Blue Cross Blue Shield, PetSmart, Waste Management, Avid, Simon Property Group, and Welch Allyn.
I have also gained experience with smaller brands and budgets, working as a freelance web designer/developer. In this capacity, I concept, architect, and design websites, then build them to pixel-perfect perfection using mainly XHTML/CSS, Wordpress, and JavaScript.
I hold a B.A. in Graphic Design from Illinois State University, where I received an education rooted in traditional design methodology and theory, and I am passionate about using this knowledge and skill set to make the Web a better place.
